The vision

Friendship Across Borders is a partnership of committed , Germans/Europeans, Palestinians from the occupied territories and Jewish Israelis, who are determined to create a forum of mutual trust by fostering understanding.They accept responsibility for their own situation and that of the following generations. Their peace activities help counter the sorrow and pain of their interwined histories and create mutual understanding and reconciliation across borders, walls and fences.

Friendship Across Borders aims to mitigate the effects of hostility and war at an individual level to serve the greater whole of the socitey.

We develope dependable and durable relationships in oder to build a foundation of understanding among the people involved in the Middle East conflict and Germans/Europeans. We train people to become " Peace Carriers" to change the view of their so called enemies and carry that awareness back into their own environment.

Friendship Across Borders contributes towards overcoming the spiral of hatred, revenge and degradation by creating a spiral of mutual responsibility and respect for the dignity of all people, independent of age, education, gender, race, religion or national identity.

We know, that the welfare and peace of future generations, depends on what we do NOW, both indivudally and collectively for each other. How we consciously, yet critically, acknolwedge and deal with past incidents that have caused much pain and sorrow between people and nations will define the peace available to our children and grandchildren.
